"The idea of a website for baby products was given to me by my husband Russell, a keen supporter of catalogue and online shopping!  I decided to make the idea a reality after discovering first hand how difficult it can be to get out and about with a new baby, particularly if you are breastfeeding and are not comfortable doing this in public. With my own baby being 5 months at the time, weaning was at the forefront of my mind. I noticed, whilst browsing the web, that there were many places one can buy baby products, often including some products for feeding and weaning, but that there was no one specific site dedicated to what is effectively one of the most significant times in your baby's life and something, moreover, that every mother will have to go through. Jasmine, my daughter, is now a year and I have trialled many of the products on her so I feel I have a pretty good understanding of what mums really need and can sell my products with confidence."

Thus. drawing on her own needs and personal experience, Keen to Wean was born.

Emma has had several years of working in the childrens' retail market and knows, therefore how important the whole shopping experience is to busy mums (and dads!) Whilst supplying unique yet highly functional feeding and weaning products, our aim is to be remembered for so much more than just the product. We hope that our easy to navigate site and personal yet always highly professional customer service will give parents the shopping experience they deserve.
